COVID-19 Vaccine Acceptance Among Construction Workers

The COVID-19 pandemic has affected all industries, including the construction industry. In addition to being a hazard-prone environment, also highest number of occupational fatalities. Construction workers have been more severely by this disease than general public. availability vaccines fueled optimism, with vaccination considered safest and most effective method protecting against COVID-19. However, vaccinating workforce achieve herd immunity difficult as acceptance rate appears be significant hurdle. purpose study is assess workers' vaccine after it became widely available. A two-step research methodology was used in that included: 1) comprehensive literature review looked at rates U.S. unwillingness get vaccinated 2) qualitative questionnaire survey worker acceptance. Results showed 43% not received vaccine, while 41% refused vaccine. To increase among workers, stakeholders should supply safety training improve culture within their organizations.
